Meet the Muses Welcoming & Other Stories to Los Angeles

& Other Stories is unlike any other international retailer. With ateliers set in major cities around the world, each piece speaks to a different space. Perhaps a chic trench hails from their Stockholm atelier or a little black dress is of their Paris selection. Classic and refined, it is beyond exciting that & Other Stories chose Los Angeles as the destination to open their only US-based atelier. In celebration of their American homecoming, we wrangled a few babes who we believe perfectly encapsulate the many facets of Los Angeles style. Some are models, some are creatives, some are a little bit of both, but all of these beauties are unique and eccentric when it comes to their fashion. Get acquainted with & Other Stories Los Angeles atelier offerings in our latest style guide as Ashley Moore, Brooke Power, Elsie Hewitt, Djuna Bel, Jenny Ong, Kelley Ash, Paige Elkington, Roxanna Dunlop, and Taylor LaShae don their favorite pieces.

P.S. Enter to win a trip to Los Angeles with & Other Stories! Model Ashley Moore is flirty and feminine in every outfit she puts on. Sweeter than candy in an ensemble comprised of different blush tones or edging towards a sexier lace and leather pairing, she effortlessly moves from casting-ready to romantic date night in a matter of moments.

Brook Power’s style is best described in two words: beachy and bohemian. Worn denim meets a lived-in sweater, stripes mingle with yellow-tinted glasses, a red floral slip dress is toughened up by a classic lettermen’s jacket. Sun kissed and always up for an adventure, this model and creative inspires us to indulge in the freedom of wearing whatever the hell we want.

Djuna Bel approaches style as if her body is a blank canvas made to be doused in different textures, fabrics, and colors. The Los Angeles-based wardrobe stylist appears inherently classic Californian until you catch her in bold stripes, dainty pink hues, or royal blue velour. Reminding us that playfulness is an essential ingredient in developing personal style, Djuna Bel’s wardrobe is just as chic and tasteful as it is bold and loud.

Model Elsie Hewitt is comfortable and sexy all at once. Known for donning a bikini more often than she wears anything else, her aesthetic is understated yet stunning. Opting for simple silhouettes that highlight her beautiful figure (hello, little black zip-up dress), easy cotton two-pieces, and denim that fits like a glove, Hewitt redefines casual style.

Style blogger Jenny Ong is a city slicker with a penchant for romantic details. She’ll rock an ultra-feminine pastel top with black lace peeking out one moment and then will slip into a sleek black jumpsuit the next. Artfully combining on-trend pieces with closet staples, Jenny is the picture perfect portrait of a modern-day fashion icon.

Model and stylist Kelley Ash is a classic beauty that looks as if she was plucked from the scene of a 70s romance film. Unafraid to mix prints and textures, you’re likely to catch her in vintage-inspired wrap dress or a dramatic black-on-black ensemble that plays upon shape and texture.

Paige Elkington is a true creative. The multi-hyphenate (actress/model/designer/activist) brings her artistic eye to every outfit she wears, whether that’s through a black purse covered in leather flowers or her recurring nods to 90s fashion by pairing unexpected colors like pink and black together. Elkington’s personal style is best summarized as bold, cheeky, and never too serious.

Model and actress Roxanna Dunlop’s style evokes thoughts of classic movie stars, romantic evenings, and femininity. Alternating between sexy black ensembles that are equal parts womanly and boss babe, Roxanna has mastered the art of a well-rounded wardrobe.

Actress Taylor LaShae is of another era when it comes to her personal style. She rocks red lipstick and berets in a variety of hues and looks like a model pulled from the pages of a vintage Vogue. Despite her penchant for vintage fashion, she isn’t afraid to dive into modern elements of style (think glitter socks with black heels plus a pink shag jacket). Always keeping us on our toes, her street style is consistently elevated, aspirational, and original.
