Warbly Jets Releases “Alive” [Video]

When we last heard from the boys of Warbly Jets, they discussed their sound and influences, but urged listeners to move away from comparisons and to focus on the authenticity of what’s in front of you. Well someone picked up on that vibe, and it happened to be the Dandy Warhols. Check out their tour dates below. The guys have built a momentum to watch out for. The Warbly Jets sound, well, not tired. Which is what makes their choice for their latest music video “Alive” an interesting one.

In the new video, it is refreshing to see how much they are enjoying themselves. Thrashing away blissfully without a hint of self-restraint, they appear as though they’ve stayed up all night and rehearsed all day for a show that will surely carry on into the next morning. With no signs of slowing down it seems that they’ve made their mark on LA without becoming too jaded. Which is a good thing because it’s time for the rest of the world to start listening.

It’s especially pleasing to see them on tour with Mystery Lights, another up and coming band. In an age where record labels aren’t necessary and shows are filled because of a buzz. It’s nice to see even the hint of success not going to a bands head. That’s why I’m sure their arrival back in Brooklyn this weekend at Shea Stadium will be the show to be at.

“I’m alive but it feels like I’m on fire and it’s right on time.” What a way to make an entrance. Carry on, guys. We’ll be listening.

Warbly Jets will be joining Mystery Lights this Saturday December 10th at Shea Stadium in Brooklyn.
