Interview Series: Lorien Stern
By Julia Childs 15 Apr 2014 @ 8:21 pm | Categorized: Interview Series, Live_Art>
There’s a part of me that will always love simple aesthetics coupled with irresistibly adorable concepts. This leads me to believe that there will be apart of me that will always love Lorien Stern‘s work. Originally from the small nook of a town known as Ojai, Lorien embodies a sense of adventure that is evident within her work. Ceramic cats, sharks, bears and other cute animals live alongside batik egg portraits while a knack for printmaking effortlessly transforms hand-drawn graphics – Stern has dipped her toes in a variety of mediums resulting in light-hearted yet emotive work.
Currently living on The Land, a family owned property nestled on the edge of the Mojave Desert, Lorien is focused on constant creation, inching towards a self-sustained lifestyle and plans to open up artist residencies at her desert hideaway. She was kind enough to have a chat with Live FAST and fill us in on her current musings, inspirations and endeavors. Check out what she has to say below!
Lingerie Guide: Kriss Soonik
By Roxanna Dunlop 14 Apr 2014 @ 9:06 pm | Categorized: Featured, Lingerie Guide, Live_Sex>
Lingerie is supposed to be fun – a philosophy that Kriss Soonik casually manifests into each of her designs, and one that we wholeheartedly abide by. Always luxurious and unexpected, Kriss Soonik is a brand that, much like its creator, embodies sensuality with ease and emphasizes the importance of individuality. Season after season, the British designer unveils collections that are perpetually innovative and fresh, always in harmony with the brand’s influential eccentricity. We are beyond excited to feature this interview and exclusive lingerie guide with Neave Bozorgi, captured up in the hills of Los Angeles at LUX/LODGE, where the stunning decor is homey and the natural light is magical. Enjoy…

Zofia Bogusz creates ethereal images via her skilled use of oil paints, graphite, and colored pencils on hand-cut wood that drip with a mysterious feminine allure – each piece lends the intoxicating feeling of a beautiful woman staring you dead in the eyes.
Good Buzz: Juice Served Here

My recent cold-pressed addiction began at Juice Served Here, a forward-thinking juice bar in West Hollywood focused on producing raw and organic juices with a unique approach: keep things clean, simple and local. The company founded by Greg Alterman and Alex Matthews occupies a few storefronts in and around Los Angeles, including their commissary in Culver City, where the juices are cold-pressed and delivered to each location bright and early every morning.
Lingerie Guide: Feu de Vénus
By Roxanna Dunlop 17 Jan 2014 @ 11:33 am | Categorized: Lingerie Guide, Live_Sex>
We don’t like to play favorites with our lingerie, but we’re willing to break the rules for this one. A new luxury label created by Montrealer Véronique Lepage, Feu de Vénus draws inspiration from the divine sensuality of the goddess Vénus herself, with a design emphasis on clean lines and sharp angles. We fell in love with the brand a few months back and thought an exclusive editorial shot by Neave Bozorgi would be the proper way to introduce their fashion-forward debut collection.
Babe Talk: Amanda Pizziconi
By Roxanna Dunlop 13 Dec 2013 @ 9:42 am | Categorized: Babes, Live_Sex>
Born and raised in San Francisco, the divine Amanda Pizziconi is so much more than just a pretty face. The five-foot-eleven, wannabe superhero has the body of a goddess but she also bears a winning personality and a big heart to match. Delta Element photographs Miss Pizziconi in her natural state (not too much styling, minimal hair and makeup) looking sexier then ever, and we got to know the brown-eyed beauty a little better in this exclusive interview where she talks about everything from her fears to her turn-ons… enchantée, Amanda.
Art Crush: Kristian Schmidt

As you probably already know, here at Live Fast Mag, we are a little bit obsessed with the ocean. One of the most exciting exhibits we caught at Art Basel Miami this week centered around the whale shark, and the few daring ladies willing to dance beneath the sea with them.

We teamed up with the brilliant Neave Bozorgi to bring you our first-ever exclusive lingerie editorial featuring Parisian brand Maison Close. Known for tastefully harnessing fetish vibes by playing with the roles of domination and submission, Maison uses lots of sheer fabrics and cheeky cutouts, leaving little to the imagination. Passionate about their french-style garments, they emphasizes the notion of “love games,” decorating their very detailed and intricate pieces with a playful, laissez-faire approach.
Interview Series: Warren Brand “The Cycle Of Art”
By Gabrielle Lisa Collard 10 Oct 2013 @ 5:36 pm | Categorized: Interview Series, Live_Art>, Street Art
With his latest project, art enthusiast and curator Warren Brand has managed to bring new life to an ordinary urban space while bringing a community together. Surrounding himself with artists, neighbors and kindred spirits, he allowed a whole block of abandoned buildings to blossom into a vibrant, living work of art. As the result of many years of love, art and memories is about to get torn down, he’s working on immortalizing the experience through a documentary, which he hopes to get funded through IndieGogo. We had the chance to chat a little bit with the man behind the Branded Arts Complex, an inclusive and positive project that’s sure to inspire and to soon be reborn.

Photo Of The Week: 15/2/2013
By Live Fast Mag 15 Feb 2013 @ 12:05 pm | Categorized: Live_Art>, Photography
This past week was fairly quiet on the site because we ventured out to Hawaii to cover POW WOW, a gathering of incredible street artists. Well thanks to this amazing denim jacket created by Haight Ashbury Co. in collaboration with NYC illustrator Marilyn Rondon, ”TOTALLY STOKED” became our slogan for the whole entire trip. This particular picture was captured by Laura Austin at this rad little art sanctuary called The Refinery Project on the North Shore, just after we got back from swimming with sharks. Needless to say, we had plenty of reasons to be “TOTALLY STOKED” on this trip.
Submit a great photo with its story for a chance to be featured next week! Email us here!

Art Crush: Sainer
By Abby Wilcox 05 Nov 2012 @ 4:21 pm | Categorized: Art Crush, Live_Art>, Street Art
Polish artist Przemek Blejzyk – a.k.a. Sainer – amazes with his colorful, whimsical figures, which he paints both on canvasses and the streets. There’s a darker edge to his style – you’ll notice that none of his characters look at you – or their faces are hidden in some way, almost as if they are masking their sadness…
Wanderlust: Corey Arnold’s “Graveyard Point”

Out of all the places in the world, Alaska is one I’ve wanted to visit – to breathe in the untamed wilderness, crisp salty air and just exist up in the silence of the mountains, alone for a while. Nature calms the mind like nothing else, doesn’t it? Well… maybe not fot the men at sea.
