Intricate details cast on the inside of an Altoids lid make for the sweetest surprise. Artist Heidi Annalise thought to paint impressionistic landscapes on the top of mint tins, using the bottom portion as her palette. The result is something that is equal parts cute and impressive – the sort of thing that you squeal at when looking at first only to revel in the amount of careful detail and skill exercised to create such a thing.
The Colorado-based painter takes a photograph of each finished product in front of the the landscape she is referencing, the artist acknowledging her muse, praising and thanking Mother Earth for the natural beauty emitted into the world on a daily basis. Love Heidi’s work? Follow her for more.
