There is something so luxurious and envious in my thoughts about Canada. Whenever I’m daydreaming my nest jaunt I’m wearing well tailored slacks and being the sort of woman I always want to be. Like, the place itself will inspire better aesthetic choices. Hotel William Gray fits into my fantasy so well it’s now crossed over into tangible realities and plane tickets. The recently completed property has a full service spa, 127 rooms/suites, an outdoor pool, and a rooftop terrace that overlooks Place Jacques-Cartier. Located in Old Montreal the area has incredible food, fantastic shopping, and chic attractions like the Old Port and the Notre-Dame Basilica.
The property is eye catching, a perfect fusion of new and old, with a glass tower atop two historic buildings. It’s a seamless new addition to the area; equal parts divine luxury and curl-me-up comforting. We’re also really digging their effort to support local artists: featuring the artwork of Montreal native, Steven Spazuk, as well as the second location of local favorite, Café Olimpico’s (the first opened in the 70’s.)
This collection of well made choices and the unparalleled views make Hotel William Gray a reason to stay in Old Montreal just a few days longer, or perhaps a reason to jaunt in the first place.
