Warm California nights make me think of Over The Hills and Far Away. I want to roll the windows down and hit the freeway when there’s no traffic. Stop for beer at the ramshackle gas station and listen to Houses of the Holy until we get where we’re going. Hopefully we’d laugh a lot and make it there in time to catch the 7 o’clock movie – I’d never never been to the drive in. Let’s put on our favorite sneakers, ride with our feet up on the dash, and shoot the shit to pass the time…
