Preview: Li-Hill “Carbon” at C.A.V.E. Gallery

Artist Li-Hill, who we interviewed recently, has landed in LA for his solo show “Carbon” at C.A.V.E. Gallery. Referencing the cycle of life and death in this impressive body of work, his representation of the animal kingdom threatened by the effects of industrialization is nothing less than striking. The animals appear almost ghostly, which he achieved with an aerosol technique so that the subjects appear to dissipate. He also recently finished a haunting large-scale street mural for the show of wandering wolves. Don’t miss the artist reception tonight from 6-9 at C.A.V.E. Gallery in Venice.
