Although seasons don’t really exist in sunny Los Angeles, I swear I can feel the autumn air right after Labor Day. Sure, it is usually still averaging 80 degrees a day and yes, I struggle with wanting to layer up on fall’s fashions without melting beneath the beaming Southern California sun. Along with my penchant for the fall season comes my obsession with autumn fashion. Lust Cover Desire just released their fall/winter collection for 2014, inspired by tomboy athleticism.
I was never one for tomboy adventures, but I do find myself constantly stealing clothing trends from the gents. Luckily Lust Covet Desire has used elements of boyish streetwear to satisfy my androgynous fashion urges. Photographed by Olivia Malone, the fall/winter 2014 lookbook lets me indulge in those luxurious layers, reminiscent of schoolyard flings. Chic cornrows completes the collection’s aesthetics.
