Wiissa, the dream team made up of Vanessa Hollander and Wilson Philippe, is a film and photography duo that has been creating together since their teens. This pair has been focused on capturing their adventures and friends since the ages of 14 and 15. Together they conceptualize, style, photograph, and edit all of their own shoots. They have worked with Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, director Warren Fu (famous for his Daft Punk videos) and have been featured on Oyster Magazine, Nylon Magazine, and the Urban Outfitters website among others.
Perfectly capturing the quaint essence of film photography, this couple shoots exclusively film and they create scenarios mixing past decades’ styles and bringing us into a world of delightful throwback fantasy.
Their photos capture the starry eyed antics of wild youth and celebrate the effortless bad ass. Just one scroll through their archives can induce a mood of playfulness leaving a craving for freedom on a whimsical afternoon.
