Born and raised in San Francisco, the divine Amanda Pizziconi is so much more than just a pretty face. The five-foot-eleven, wannabe superhero has the body of a goddess but she also bears a winning personality and a big heart to match. Delta Element photographs Miss Pizziconi in her natural state (not too much styling, minimal hair and makeup) looking sexier then ever, and we got to know the brown-eyed beauty a little better in this exclusive interview where she talks about everything from her fears to her turn-ons… enchantée, Amanda.
LF: Tell us how you got into modeling…
AP: I was originally scouted in San Francisco when I was 14, but was too focused on school and family to do anything then. When I finally felt the time was right, I went to all the open calls in Los Angeles.
LF: What are some of your other passions?
AP: I LOVE music. I cannot explain the rush I feel from listening to an album through and through, or the excitement of watching live shows. Music is probably my biggest passion actually…
LF: Describe your perfect day…
AP: I would be waking up on a beach somewhere exotic and eating fresh mango and papaya for breakfast. I would spend the day hiking and swimming with friends, then finish it off with turning into a superhero (preferably cat woman appeal) and saving the world of all its miseries. That’s the perfect day…
LF: What’s your motto?
AP: “Live life as if it were a dream.”
LF: Would you say you’re an introvert or an extrovert?
AP: I’m an ambivert.
LF: Any specific photographers you particularly love shooting with?
AP: TONS- they know who they are.
LF: Your portfolio proves that you are a chameleon, but what are you most comfortable shooting in?
AP: Honestly, the less clothing and styling I have to deal with the better.
LF: What’s in your closet right now?
AP: A lot of Rick Owens, Complex Geometries, leather jackets, denim, fuzzy coats and boots.
LF: Favorite City you’ve visited?
AP: San Francisco is where my heart is.
LF: When do you feel the most beautiful?
AP: In the morning before all the makeup and hairspray.
LF: What turns you on?
AP: Kindness, and gifts from Kiki De Montparnasse
LF: Tell us your biggest fear…
AP: Being in the ocean all by myself- I am seriously terrified of sharks.
LF: Any advice you would give to young women looking to pursue a career in the modeling industry?
AP: Never ever stop following your dreams.
LF: How fast do you live?
AP: Lightning speed.
