Snapshots From Dubai: Deira Creek Portraits

The Deira Creek, a part of what is now called Old Dubai served as a minor trading port for dhows coming from India and the region. It is currently a hive for curious tourists and busy migrant workers. During a recent visit to the creek, I met a variety of different people ranging from boat men & construction workers to tea boys and textile sellers. I am a firm believer that faces tell the true story of a place, so I hope you can relive my little journey through my portraits.
