Everyday, tourists from around the world drive all the way up Beachwood Canyon to see the country’s most famous, larger than life letters in person. The most adventurous of them will try to go off road and hike the hills towards the Hollywood Sign until the sound of a police helicopter or a rattle snake alerts them it’s time to tumble down. Others will book a guided trail ride at Sunset Ranch – so cool.
A couple weeks after its face lift was completed, I took a stroll to the iconic Hollywood Sign with some of my favorite ladies after grabbing a drink on Franklin. The best spot to check out the Hollywood sign (legally) is a little harder to get to, but totally worth it. On Saturday, we found an abandoned pool on the way and stopped by for a few snapshots.
Watch me go all Californian on ya. Head north on Beachwood Drive, veer left on Ledgewood Drive. Stay left on Ledgewood where Deronda veers right. Continue on Ledgewood until the next right, Rockcliff Drive, follow Rockcliff as it winds up the hill until Deronda Drive and park near the gate…
