Lookbook Lust: Wild At Heart’s “Circe’s Daughter”

I am always drawn to an eerie lookbook with a story. Wild at Heart‘s late fall lookbook shot by Graham Dunn features a mysterious moon child draped in vintage gypsy threads; isolated, exploring in nature. The story’s muse, portrayed by Alice Davis, captures a necessary level of strange, dressed in feminine lace and wild green hair. A new age twist on the witch in the woods…

With inspiration pulled from the great Stevie Nicks, the fabric story contains a lot of velvet, tapestry, fringe, and lace. We see a lot of late 60’s inspired silhouettes. This coincides with the vibe of many pieces on wildatheartvintage.com.

My favorite shot out of this lookbook would have to be the one below. Such a great capture of confidence and ease. I love how she seems so dark yet so soft, so bold while so feminine with the blue accent from her hair contrasting the soft yellow and green behind her.
