Lookbook Lust: Reed + Rader For Verrier

It’s hard to stop staring at this take-your-breath-away artistic collaboration between Reed + Rader and NYC fashion line Verrier, a series of delicate lookbook animations merging organic hand-drawn illustrations with modern photographs of a waify manga-esque model who happens to look amazing in pastel-colored wigs. Not to mention, Ashley Verrier’s latest collection brings back the nudes, a bit refreshing amidst the overload of intense, bold and bright patterns seen on the runways these days.

Verrier has an extensive background in fashion design, starting her career on the West Coast in both Seattle and San Francisco, and then eventually honing her skills at Parson’s School of Design in NYC. She also spent several years mentoring under Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler. Reed + Rader is a first-class collaboration between Pamela Reed and Matthew Rader, who enjoy cats, Nintendo, pizza, robots and augmented reality, among other things.
