Portland-based illustrator / art director Mengyu Chen (a.k.a. Jenny) delights with these whimsical paper pop-up animated gifs. The illustrations are part of an ongoing comic book project called “The Encephalic Cinema.” Just in case you were wondering, “encephalic” means of or related to the brain. Mixed in with the gifs, we’ve also included a few of her satirical brain-teasing (slightly dark) comics for some Monday afternoon humor.
