Art Crush: Damien Blottière

Sexy, edgy, and playful with abstract shapes and color palettes, it’s no wonder everyone is talking about  Damien Blottière. Having graced the pages of Dazed & Confused, Muse, New York Times, and Out magazine, the French collage-photographer has taken the fashion world by storm, creating distinctly original images to serve as an ode to the human body.

Blottière takes the silhouettes of the bodies, faces, and shapes of his photographed models as a starting point to “cut and paste” his way into a completely unique world of his own as he hand-makes his collage masterpieces. His distinguished work has landed him collabs with fashion icons Stella McCartney, Hermès, and Bernhard Willhelm and a March 2012 cover of Out magazine featuring Jean-Paul Gaultier.
