Art Crush: Love & Hate at StolenSpace Gallery, London

Are you celebrating (or mourning) Valentine’s day? Curators at London’s StolenSpace Gallery assigned a bunch of international artist with the theme of Love & Hate in time for the most romantic – and saddest for some – day of the year. What they got is an eclectic mix of birds, skulls and bones, flowers, hearts, shadows and cars, and blood of course. Mostly beautiful, thought-provoking artwork. You think a diamond is forever? So is a print by Miss Van! Take a peek at the exhibition’s best work:

This week, I’m leaning into love. Love for literature and one of its most brilliant minds. Love for our First Lady who feels like family instead of political royalty. Love for Common, a man whose trademark creative impulse shines on an unofficial remix of “Cranes in the Sky.”
