Rembrandt’s Erotic Secrets

Did you know that the largest private collection of erotic art in America is located right in Miami’s Art Deco District? Naomi Wilzig’s World Erotic Art Museum is a real treat for sexy art lovers: over twenty rooms full of rare paintings, sculptures, drawings, tapestries and other precious objects depicting and inspiring hundreds of ways to have sex – some of them dating back to the early days of the Roman Empire. “These are works of art that illustrate the evolution of erotica, the cultures and the time frames in which they were created. It is a genre of art that is aesthetically important and should be seen as a pathway through history and its cultures,” Wilzig explains. She told us that the collection started when her son asked her to look for conversation pieces for when he had women over – “so they would know what to expect.” Watch out for our upcoming interview with this fascinating woman.
